In my elements with the elements

I am a woman who likes her feet planted firmly on the ground.

But yet, I am drawn to the water. I like the stillness of the lake and the crashing of the waves. I like the bubbling of a brook and the sound of a spring. I like the wispy sound of a waterfall. I like the gentleness of a restoring rain. I am a woman who likes her feet planted firmly on the ground.

But yet, I am intrigued by the air. Clouds forming and cascading across the sky. Birds dancing a ballet, back and forth across my field of vision. Wild winds that bring new sights and smells. I am a woman who likes her feet planted firmly on the ground.

But yet, fire captivates me. Flames ferociously dancing in an active campfire. The sun setting or rising, on the horizon. A candle, calmly creating a mood of reflection.

Earth, Water, Air, Fire.

Gaia. Mother Earth. Providing comfort from which to see the other elements.

She provides therapeutic soil, so full of life, that brings forth such delicious food to sustain us. Although she is constantly turning, flying through space, we find comfort here. Glancing at the stars, the water, and sky,

we can think, reflect, and dream.

Standing on the firm ground

we can build, transform, and create.

Our Earth takes care of us. We must take care of her.
